PANTANAL ADVENTURE TOUR
CAMPO GRANDE – MATO GROSSO DO SUL- BRAZIL

THE BEST OF SOUTH AND NORTH PANTANAL  WILDLIFE TOUR - 10 DAYS

This is a 4x4 cross country expedition intended for adventurous and intrepid travelers. It is completely and deliberately off the beaten track, with only a very remotes chance of encountering other tour parties. Instead of staying in the usual established camps, we will set up bush camps at various locations across the Pantanal, as well as having an opportunity to sample some typical local culture by spending a night at a fazenda ranch. On this trip, you will have the unrivaled experience of viewing truly undisturbed wildlife at very close range. You should easily observe up to 300 species of birds, several species of monkeys, caiman, capybara, lizards, tapirs, marsh deer, river otters, giant anteaters, deer, peccaries, maned wolves, and with good luck a jaguar--an adventurous tour to experience wild and hidden Pantanal sites. Tours depart from Campo Grande and end up in Cuiabá or the other way around, on pre-arranged date

Both a driver and a guide accompany this active and heavily participatory expedition. We provide tents, sleeping sheets, and roll mats, all of which can comfortably be carried with you and your luggage in our 4x4 truck. All cooking equipment and supplies are provided, and we also carry a large cooler box which we keep stocked with ice for as long as possible during the trip. Expedition participants are divided into cooking teams by our crew, and we share the duties cooking on gas stoves and, where appropriate, by open fire.
