Timing is just as important as we know where the animals hide during the wet season, and which bays to find them drinking in during the dry season. For most of our Pantanal Expeditions, remoteness and uniqueness is what we strive to combine on our trips, which is why you will likely not see any other travelers. GROUP SIZE: As we are an eco-tour company tailored to those who want to enjoy nature, we believe it is necessary to keep groups small to optimize chances of seeing wildlife, as well as allowing for personalized service, increased trip flexibility, and minimal environmental impact. A small group also has the benefit of allowing guests to spend more time with their guides, which enriches the experience.
Groups are small, usually two to eight participants.

VEHICLES: We operate our own vehicles that include an air-conditioned Toyota 4WD van, a small air-conditioned minibus, and a specially-built 4WD Toyota Landcruiser truck, ensuring a more comfortable means of land transportation. For those interested in our special river cruise a large houseboat equipped with bedrooms and shared bathrooms is also available; smaller aluminum boats are used to explore narrow tributaries that are inaccessible by big boats. The variety of transportation and equipment we have allows us to go deeper into the Pantanal than other companies.

OUR ACCOMMODATIONS : The Pantanal is made up of 11 seperate eco systems, each home to different animals and plants, that is why EcoExplorer has a unique lodging itinerary. Instead of staying in one lodge like all other companies, Pantanal eco explorer goes to many different lodges, allowing you to take in more than one of the Pantanal´s ecosystems. The lodges, while ranging in luxury, are all integrated with the landscape. The proximity of the wildlife more than makes up for the lack of luxury of some our lodges, just stepping outside one of our lodges can turn into an adventure. We have carefully selected lodges based on time of the year as water levels in the Pantanal are constantly changing, drier areas will have more land animals, and wet areas will have more aquatic life. We provide comfortable accommodations at all tour destinations. Personalized and intimate experience in smaller lodges and camps.
